The one number that cuts through the noise

Say a stock trades at $200 and a two-year call has a breakeven of $260. That contract needs the stock to grow about 14% per year before it makes a cent. If you don't expect 14%, the contract is asking too much — no matter how exciting the story sounds. RankMyOption computes this hurdle for every contract on the chain and colours it:

On top of the hurdle, each contract gets a transparent Efficiency Score (0–100) built from 11 disclosed components — premium paid vs. intrinsic value, leverage, spread, liquidity and more. Click any number to see its formula. No black box, no "trust us" score.

What you get

LEAP Analyzer

Every long-dated call for a ticker, ranked by required CAGR and efficiency — with entry-timing gauges, expiration scenarios, Monte Carlo, and a click-to-audit formula trail for all 25 computed metrics.

Market Scanner

Scan the market for LEAPs whose hurdle is unusually low right now, and spot unusual long-dated activity — instead of checking tickers one by one.

Income Ranker

Covered calls and cash-secured puts ranked by realistic annualised yield, so income trades are compared on the same honest basis as growth trades.

Stock Analyzer

A deterministic scorecard for the underlying stock itself — valuation, growth, quality and risk — with unavailable data flagged, never invented.

PMCC & Wheel · Pro

Poor man's covered call setups ranked like the analyzer, and a wheel tracker that keeps your true adjusted cost basis as you roll.

Positions, Alerts & Digest

Track open positions against your original thesis: if the required CAGR drifts or the thesis breaks, you get alerted — plus a daily digest. No babysitting spreadsheets.

Straight answers

What is a LEAP?

A long-dated call option — typically expiring more than a year out. LEAPs let you control stock upside for a fraction of the share price, but the premium means the stock has to move just to break even. That gap is exactly what required CAGR measures.

Is this financial advice?

No. RankMyOption is an educational analysis tool. It makes no buy/sell recommendations and nothing here is personalised advice. It shows you the math — what you do with it is your decision, ideally with a licensed adviser.

Where does the data come from?

Delayed Cboe option quotes (≈15 minutes), Yahoo Finance price history and current Treasury yields are included. Pro users may connect their own Tradier account for real-time quotes from their own data — RankMyOption never places trades and never touches your brokerage account. Always verify figures with your broker before trading.

What can I lose with options?

A long option can expire worthless — you can lose 100% of the premium paid. Scenario and Monte Carlo outputs are mathematical models with stated assumptions, not forecasts or guarantees.
